The History Behind the Venue

This spacious, family-owned 250-acre farm, located in the heart of North Central Florida, has been home to three generations of Holders. 

Currently owned by Keith & Diana Holder, Keith’s grandfather first purchased the initial parcel of lakefront property in 1939.

The Barrington family previously owned the property, building a homestead in 1869 that remains on the farm today. The picturesque farmland surrounds Fowler’s Lake, the name being derived from owners of the property prior to 1869.

Throughout the years, the Holder family continuously purchased the acreage situated near the 40-acre lake until it grew to be the 250-acre farm it is today. 

Rich with history and breathtaking scenery, The Barn at Lakeside Ranch is the perfect location for families to create spectacular, lifelong memories.

Together, we're a group of passionate planners, problem-solvers, TikTok queens, and hype girls who love bringing wedding visions to life. From your first tour to your final send-off, we're here to make the process feel as easy as breathing. Meet the Owners

Keith and Diana are high school sweethearts and married in 1984. Born and raised in Gainesville, Florida, they decided to relocate to the family farm in Hawthorne in 2013. Together, they have three children (Brittany, Madison, & Allen) and four grandchildren. Keith and Diana are excited to welcome you to the farm and hope you enjoy the peacefulness, elegance, and rustic charm The Barn at Lakeside Ranch has to offer! 

Luxury Meets Rustic
The Barn at Lakeside Ranch while rustic on the outside, is elegant throughout on the inside. The walls are covered in beautiful yellow pine with a chandelier at the center and chiffon fabric draping the ceiling throughout.

The Groom's Lounge will not disappoint providing two large leather sofas, a TV, mini-bar, pool table and full bath.

The Bridal Parlor has luxurious victorian seating, chandelier lighting, vanity bar for hair and makeup, mini-bar and full bath.

Guests will have access to 6 restrooms including handicap accessible.

A kitchen is ready and waiting for your caterer to include a food cooler and warmer, ice machine and food prep area.

A choice of ceremony space to include down at the lake with 40 built in benches or an oak tree setting with movable benches and chairs.

Ample lighted parking is provided.
